Madeira, mature, bold, fruity and slightly yeasty, almost like fruit biscuit. Citrus and lemons with elegant finish.

Purple colour as well as a gorgeous nose of underbrush, cassis, licorice, smoke, and a hint of crushed stones. The beautiful integration of soft, supple tannin, pinpoint precision of all the elements, expansive mid-palate, and tremendous 35-40 second finish.

The Chateau Latour 2003 has to be one of the best wines of the vintage. There is a sense of grandeur on the nose, one of those rare Latour vintages that is so sensual and extraordinarily pure. There are subtle graphite notes, cedar and brambly black fruit that are supremely well defined.

As antique lace, so fragile and refined. Absolutely wonderful, fanning out
in the mouth. Beautifully complex and delineated. Long lingering on. Notes of earth, dried prunes, horse-stable and leather, dried raisins. Light in color, bit cloudy.

Notes of mint and licorice. Intense fruit, toast, and spicy aromas. Mid-palate, carried by aromas of black fruits and toast.
